More than 158 million children in child labour

Children are God’s greatest gift. They are born to live and blossom. Child labour is a common problem in most countries. An estimated 158 million children aged 5-14 are engaged in child labour – one in six children in the world. It is one of the major evils of urbanization and industrialization. Child labour is engaged not because of shortage of labourers, but due to its easy availability and cheapness.

For specific jobs women and child labour is considered to be more convenient and cheaper. Normally child labour is engaged for simple and easy jobs. So, these children do not need specific training or education.  These workers are mostly available directly through other workers. Specific attempts through advertisement or employment exchanges are not necessary.

Can unemployment be fully removed?

Unemployment is a state where due to one or other reason one is not able to get a job according to his demand and ability. If one is unemployed because he is not having a job much higher than his capability, he cannot be said to be unemployed. In reality, it is the excess supply of workers over the demand for them that causes unemployment.

Unemployment can be classified into various groups. Full unemployment, partial unemployment, seasonal unemployment, cyclical unemployment, among educated and disguised unemployment.

In these tough times it is getting harder stay positive. Many of us find ourselves dragging from day to day. Some are consumed with worry, while others just give up altogether. Well, I have some surefire tips to put a smile back on your face!

Take a walk! Spring is just around the corner and that means more sunny days! The chemical serotonin is what makes us feel happy, and sunlight releases serotonin. Also, exercise is very good for our bodies! It gives us a chance to burn up extra energy that contributes to stress. You don’t have to go far. Just a casual walk around your neighborhood or at the park can change your outlook for the whole day!

One has to Welcome DEATH: Why?

It is certain that whoever takes birth on this earth has to die one or other day. When such is the case, fear of death is not desirable. People who have crossed 60 years of their age always think that they are very near to death. The fear of death in old age hence becomes a problem.

Also people wish to die without suffering any pain. Many worry for their wives and children. They always grumble: Who will look after my wife after my death? I don’t know who will take away my property.

Tension is the result of absence of presence of mind. Ego is also responsible. The mind cannot come to control or relax if we have tension. We cannot understand what is happening and what we are doing because of hustle and tension. If we do any work under these circumstances the result is zero.

Some incidents keep us in tension. We become nervous and there will be a sort of fear in the mind. Sometimes our hands and legs start to shiver. Heart beating becomes more. This is all due to tension. The mind gets disturbed. We never try to understand the situation. So we have to analyse the situation. We should not allow our mind to lose equilibrium.

Today the menace of drugs has the youth in its vicious group. From smoking, a young man graduates to strong doses. Drugs coming under various labels become a password for acceptance among the youngsters. Why does one fall a victim to drugs? The answer to this question is not far to seek.

We live in a world of changed norms, changed patterns, changed values and changed success patterns. Some are unable to cope with these changes. They become frustrated and turn to drugs for relief.

Worry or worrying is a common disease. We see in daily life people telling others no need to worry but themselves worrying. The word worry itself makes us to worry. Worry destroys our peace of mind. Worry is a type of negative thought. It makes us helpless. We become pessimistic.

Several incidents happen in our life and keep us worrying. Then it is our foremost duty to see that such incidents not to happen again, we have to think in that way. Experiences should teach us.

Mind helps us to achieve success in our day-to-day practical life. The mind leads our life. Our mind can generate both happiness and sorrow. All our pains are due to uncontrolled mind. Mind is always unsteady, fickle or shaky. A clever man controls it and becomes its master. A yogi can conquer his mind. That’s why he is always peaceful and cheerful.

The mind is the root cause for all happenings. It is difficult to control mind. If you speak unnecessarily you would be wasting your mental energy. The mind always thinks about several things. We do as our mind thinks. If our mind is alright, our speech, action will be alright. When you master your mind, you master your life.

The following consequences may arise if human beings acquire the power to read the minds of others:

Lovers will be very happy if such a situation comes to pass because they will be able to read the minds of their beloveds even though the latter may keep on denying their real feelings. Love will abound on this planet if human beings, especially lovers, are able to read the thoughts of their beloveds.

Money is the root cause of all evils. But everyone needs money. Why not children?

Money used wisely elevates a person. Money used for bad habits depresses a person. It all depends how we use money and how we tell our children to use money. Generally, pocket money is essential for tots to enable them to build self-confidence. Many children go to school without pocket money. But some children spend money. This makes children with empty pockets to envy their friends.

Children should know how money works. But the difficult is how much of it should be given to children. It may be easily answered that children should be given pocket money only when they understand basics of using it wisely. By giving pocket money judiciously, keep a record of spending and improve mathematics.
